A bauhaus wave of galvanized iron for the wall by your door. It holds winter coats and loaded bags, in 11 colours and 3 sizes.
Every home has a spot by the door where coats land on a chair, because the wall has nowhere to hang them. The Wave Hook Rail gives that wall a job. It's one ribbon of galvanized iron, bent into a soft bauhaus curve and mounted flat. Each rail takes up to 6 kg, enough for winter coats and a loaded tote.
We use galvanized iron because it resists rust and damp. It holds up by a front door, in a bathroom, or in a mudroom where wet umbrellas live, and it won't chip or flake the way painted finishes do. Three sizes cover a single bedroom door (S, 3 hooks) up to a busy family entryway (L, 5 hooks), and the 3-Pack runs a whole hallway in one finish. There are eleven colours, from black and white to gold, rose gold and silver. The green is the one we hang first.

Measured twice, still surprised by how solid it is
The L is 50 cm and takes five coats, or four if they are winter parkas. Ours went in the hallway between the door and the radiator, a 60 cm gap, with room either side. The screws in the box went into plasterboard with the plugs I already had. What I did not expect is the weight of it. My husband hung his work bag off one end for a week and it has not moved.
Worth drilling the wall for
We rented this flat for two years with stick-on hooks by the door that never held anything heavier than a scarf. I put off drilling because it felt like committing to a place that is not ours. The landlord said go ahead. Coats now hang in a line instead of piling on the bench, and the gold reads warm rather than brassy against a white wall.
Six months of shower steam and no rust, but sort the screws out
I wanted this for the bathroom, which rules out most hooks, because anything painted starts bubbling within a year in there. Six months of daily showers and there is not a mark on it. My complaint is small, but you notice it daily. The screws come in plain silver and they sit on the front of a rose gold rail. Nail varnish on the heads fixed it, but I should not have had to.
It's a wall-mount rail — mark the wall with a pencil, use a spirit level to keep it straight, and drive in the included screws. On plasterboard, use a wall plug rated for the load. Most people have it up in under 10 minutes.

Unscrew the rail and pull out the wall plugs, then fill each hole with a little lightweight filler, sand it flush once dry, and dab on matching paint. The repair disappears, which is what makes a mounted rail renter-safe as long as you keep a sample of your wall colour.
