The 126 runs the length of the sofa wall
I measured for the L and then went up to the XL, and I would do the same again. It carries a row of records and about a dozen paperbacks with no visible bow in the middle. The chrome frame is slim enough that the acrylic looks like it is floating. Orange throws a warm cast on the wall behind it in the afternoon.
Clear was the right choice for a small room
I wanted the storage without adding another visual block to a room that is already busy. Clear acrylic does exactly that. From the doorway you mostly see the books rather than the shelf. Mounting took twenty minutes and the fixings were solid enough for the plaster we have.

No complaints about the build. The shelf is rigid, the chrome is properly plated and it went up straight first time. What nobody tells you about tinted acrylic is that it marks. Dust settles visibly and fingerprints show along the front edge. A microfibre cloth once a week sorts it, but factor that in.
XS (46 cm) suits a small accent display. S (66 cm) and M (86 cm) cover most single-wall installs. L (106 cm) and XL (126 cm) fit a fuller record or book collection, or a statement wall.
