A hollow box built to pass for a hardback travel title, with a magnetic flap where the pages would be. Remotes, keys, charging cables and the reading glasses that migrate around the flat all fit inside, out of sight but still within reach of the sofa. It measures 26.7 × 17.5 × 4.2 cm, the proportions of a real coffee table book, and the card is thick enough to take a small vase or a stack of two on top.

Four covers to choose from: Biarritz Basque, Paris France, Provence Glory and St. Tropez Soleil. You pick one box, in the print you select. It is card, not board or wood, so keep it away from standing water and lift it by the base rather than the spine when it is loaded. Buy two or three prints and they stack into a run of spines that reads as a shelf rather than a single prop.

Each cover is printed on card in separate runs, so ink density can vary a shade between boxes, and screens render those colours differently again. Two boxes of the same print set side by side may not match perfectly.
