A solid-wood ball sits on an iron base with a strong magnet behind it, built to click onto a fridge door, a metal locker or a radiator without asking anything of the surface underneath. The Dot Magnetic Hook covers the wall you're not allowed to drill, and the metal surfaces a drill couldn't help with anyway.
It works on iron and other magnetic surfaces only, not on stainless steel and not on plaster or wood. Check with a fridge magnet first if you're unsure. Keep loads light: keys, an apron, a tote bag, and stay clear of sustained heat above 80°C, which weakens the magnet over time. Three colours, with bundles of two or three available.
The iron base and the painted wooden ball are finished in separate steps, so colour intensity can vary slightly from one hook to the next.

Strong for what it is, but know the limit
It holds a tea towel, an apron or a light bag and it holds them well. A heavy coat pulls it straight down the fridge door. That is physics rather than a fault, but worth knowing. Perfect for the job I actually bought it for.

Ended up on the radiator, not the fridge
Bought for the kitchen and it now hangs a hand towel off the bathroom radiator. It sticks firmly to anything iron. The yellow is a warm mustard rather than a bright primary.

It needs a magnetic surface. Many fridge doors qualify, but some stainless steel appliances don't. Test with a regular fridge magnet first. If that doesn't stick, the Dot Magnetic Hook won't either.

It's built for light items: keys, an apron, a tote bag. Anything heavier risks slipping off a magnetic surface over time.
Can I use it near a stove or heat source?+
Avoid sustained heat above 80°C. It weakens the magnet over time. A fridge, locker or radiator that isn't constantly hot works better.
